All My Lies originated back in March 2003 when guitarist/singer/songwriter Ant Mulherin and bassist/backing vocalist Mike Holness - both previously with Emo-rockers Death Of A Century - set about inventing a new and more refined sound.

Utilising raw material from Death Of A Century and blending it with their new ideas and concepts, the pair created a new balance between heavy music and melodic harmony vocals which was to become the defining sound of All My Lies.

In July 2004 drummer Steph O'Mahony brought a whole new dynamic to the band with her unique sense of rhythm forging a solid unity between the guitar riffs and the drums.

The trio set about finding a suitable rehearsal space which wasn't restricted by time slots and opening hours. The solution came in the form of a rented industrial unit in Mossley which they converted into a rehearsal space over the summer.
